Songsmith is a great utility for creating, editing, and playing SID music.  Of course, all compositions can be saved and loaded from disk.

SIDSmith  converts music saved with Songsmith  to the popular SIDPlayer  format.

SmithSID  (NOT PICTURED) converts SIDPlayer  songs to the LOADSTAR Songsmith  format.

MIDI Player  is a sophisticated program for playing SIDPlayer  music through a MIDI interface.  Features include mouse support, 255 song jukebox, ability to play 3 and 6 voice SIDS, and support for CMD drives.  The accompanying article, MIDI Player Tips, explains in depth how to get the most from MIDI Player.
